Gas-powered leaf blowers make Durham, Oregon dirty. We deserve better.

We believe our city can be cleaner, quieter and protect the health of its landscapers, neighbors and kids. And we believe we can do so without sacrificing any of the care we take of our homes.

At present our city permits the loudest most polluting machinery to run at nearly all waking hours year round.

We’d like to see the city and its neighbors ban the use of gas-powered leaf blowers. It’s time to work with lawn care crews to commit to taking care of our community with respect to everyone’s health.
